Accuracy and sourcing
- Every factual claim must be traceable to a source we record and link. If we can’t trace it, we don’t publish it.
- Ordinary news stories need at least 2 independent sources. We prefer primary sources: official statements, filings, data releases and original reporting.
- We never invent quotations, statistics or attributions. Where accounts conflict, we say so.
- We write original summaries. We do not copy or lightly rephrase other publishers’ articles, and we don’t use their photographs without permission.
Use of automation and AI
Zespire Spark uses software, including AI language models, to monitor trends, collect sources, draft stories and check that each claim matches a source. Automation assists the newsroom; it does not decide on its own what sensitive news to publish.
- Always reviewed by a human editor before publication: elections and politics, wars and military developments, deaths, accidents and emergencies, health and public safety, legal disputes or allegations about identifiable people, and market-sensitive financial news.
- May be published after automated checks: routine, low-risk items such as confirmed sports results, scheduled entertainment releases and product announcements — and only once the sourcing checks pass.
Fairness
We separate what happened from interpretation, represent significant perspectives fairly, and avoid sensational headlines.
Advertising and sponsorship
Advertising never influences coverage. Sponsored content, if we run any, is clearly labelled and kept separate from news.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly and transparently. See our corrections policy.
