How we work

Our newsroom runs four cycles a day (00:00, 06:00, 12:00, 18:00 India Standard Time). Software helps us monitor public search trends and news feeds, gather sources and prepare drafts. Stories are checked against their sources before publication, and anything involving politics, conflict, deaths, health, legal allegations or financial markets is reviewed by a human editor before it goes live.
